I know what you mean - I stopped going to see comic book movies altogether (with the exception of films I knew would be good like Superman, Batman, and Spiderman) after the hugely disappointing "Hellboy." No matter how great the material could be, they never seem to get it right. And frankly, the fact that Nicolas Cage is in it doesn't do much for me. I think he's talented but the choices he's made lately have been really questionable. I was fishing around for reviews and found this video review which I thought summed it up well (don't worry - no spoilers) http://www.spill.com/reviews/ghost-rider/ If I were you, I'd just wait for the DVD.

Anyone else see this movie? I am curious what people think. The reviews have been so mixed. Why is it so hard to make a decent comic book movie?
